Overview:
ERDAS IMAGINE, a geospatial data authoring system, incorporates geospatial image processing and analysis, remote sensing and GIS capabilities into a powerful, convenient package. It enables you to easily create value-added products such as 2D images, orthophoto mosaics, landcover classification, 3D flythrough movies, vectors derived from imagery, and cartographic-quality map compositions from geospatial data.

Install information:
Before the installation all service packs, patches and modules of version 8.7 or 9.0 must be removed. Version 9.1, 9.2, 9.3, 2010, and 2011 installations will be removed by the installation script. The Erdas software uses a network license manager.
License borrowing:
License borrowing will enable you to borrow a license from the Erdas license server for a maximum of 40 days and work without a network connection or local dongle. After the borrowing period expires you can renew the borrowing or use the floating license again. Important to note is that the borrowed license can only be used by the user that initiated the license borrowing, meaning that you can not enable license borrowing for another user account on your local computer.
Use the License Borrowing tool in the start menu, Intergraph, Intergraph Licensing, License Borrowing.The following modules are available in 2013:

• Erdas LPS (Leica Photogrammetry Suite)
• Objective

Atcor no longer included
Please note that the Atcor module is not included in the Erdas installation. If you need Atcor then this can be separately installed from the software manager AFTER the Erdas installation is completed.

Technical / Known Issues:

Please note that Erdas has issues with document file names. This problem can be avoided by only using standard characters in file and folder names of your Erdas documents. Only use characters a-z, A-Z, 0-9. Do not use spaces in your file and folder names.

Erdas 2020 64 bit limitations.
The following features are no longer available in version 2020 x64:
