Overview:
eCognition is an application for object based classification of raster imagery, previously known as Definiens. After an intial segmentation of the input imagery the user can build semantic and spatial rules to classify objects.

Please do remember that the software depends heavily on the availability of memory. Insufficient memory will slow down processing.
Install information:
eCognition is only available for Windows x64.
Technical / Known Issues:
Note that ITC only has 10 concurrent licenses. If the amount of licenses is used then eCognition will start with an error that the license server is not available.
